Milliput is such an incredibly useful and effective product that I find it hard to understand why it is not available everywhere. I have used it for every kind of repair job for years and years. Plugging, fixing, sealing, reshaping - everything! I couldn't live without it! Every job lasts forever too. Perhaps as the recession bites deeper, we will become a less "throw-away" society and value Milliput more.

I have been using milliput for just under a year now for sculpting and converting Warhammer models, my models would be alot less individual without it!

I have used Milliput several times over the past few years, and i think the product is fantastic! I have mainly used it to repair my motorbike exhaust pipes etc, but i have also used it for general D.I.Y repairs around the house. I know you dont endorse using the microwave oven to warm up the sticks, but i do put them in for about 15 seconds on full power, and i find that i can knead them together with a knife and then finish off mixing by hand. the warmth from using the microwave allows me greater flexibility when applying the putty to the job.
Thanks again for a great product, i get it from a local store in Rhos, near Wrexham. It flies off the shelf as soon as it comes in, so i always buy a box when im up in the village!
Hope youve found this of interest, many thanks, alwyn luke.

I have been using Milliput since the mid '70s. Not just for filling gaps in models, but for original work, small part casting, domestic repairs, auto repairs.... the list goes on.
There isn't much that Milliput won't do, and a lot that Millput CAN do better than anything else.
My only comment is that it can sometimes be difficult to get.

I first met Jack when my job involved inspecting factories for fire precautions but as we found we had a common interest in Alpine Plants I tended to go there more than my job required. The fact that we lived just a few hundred yards apart meant garden visits were also possible. Jack was just starting in Milliput but he told me in glowing terms about its properties and I was not surprised some years later, again doing inspections but this time on a country wide scale to find he had moved to Dolgellau which is where I next visited him and learned all about his move to world-wide production. He was a wonderful friend and it was most distressing to hear, when next I was planning a trip to Wales that he had passed away. A lovely man who I was priveledged to know.

Just to say that your putty saved me from buying a new washing machine when i left a 3/16 wood drill in the machine and pierced the drum at the bottom, making a small hole. This was easily solved with a lump of your wonderful "MILLIPUT". It filled the hole a treat.
Cheers,
Paul Stafford

I have been using your excellent product for over 20 years and have found it to be the most useful 'tool' in my toolbox. If anything needs fixing, the Milliput pack is the first thing that I reach for. I have used it to repair, pipes, hot water cylinders, car radiators, guttering, roof tiles, brickwork/flashings, electrical items..... After 20 years,I am still finding new uses for it. As I go around the house and garage I am forever spotting 'temporary' repairs that I have made with it years ago! It is a product that I would not be without. Recently I discovered the other varieties of Milliput and am looking forward to putting them to good use in the future. Thanks again Milliput for saving my bacon on so many occasions in the past. I wish you every success in the future

I started using milliput after seeing my sister use it to repair an antigue vase while I was on holiday at her house. I've now used it numerous times on my own antiques also used for fixing things for friends, I am down to my last little bit so would like to order a couple of tubes of the super white fine.

My daughter & I just returned home from a great trip/exploration of North Wales. Once back home we decided to serve ourselves tea in a more "British" manner, so I went to the cabinet & found my aunt's old, well used teapot. Unfortunately the spout had a small chip on it, and of course, that would not do. So I called my mother, who is a collector & doll repairer, and asked her if she had something to repair ceramic. On her next visit she produced a brand new box of Milliput! I was astonished to see that it came from Wales. I have just repaired the teapot and a sugar bowl also, and am about to go looking for other things to repair. It's a wonderful product!

GW Modellers: forget Green Stuff- I've used Milliput for 15 years for all my modelling and filling needs. Great stuff; but don't mix too much at once, because it sets pretty quick if you are trying to do very fine detail. Keep the stuff coming!!

Hello!!! Congratulations, Milliput has been very helpful to assamble my military planes, effective and easy to get, so I cant work without it, it also helps me to create new model kits of airplanes that doesnt not even exist in the market, so far, such as the MiG 1.42, what's more. Can epoxy resin be used the same way as fibre glass to create body kit parts for some other kits?

I took up military modelling about 10 years ago. Tiring of the shop-bought models, I decided to make mine from scratch. Searching for the right medium, a modelling book pointed me in the direction of Milliput which I had no trouble finding at a local hobby store. I'm still perfecting my hobby as well as experimenting with Milliput. It's fantastic to use and my preference is for the standard brand. All the best

I latched onto Milliput about a decade ago when I began to get involved in table-top combat games that involved miniatures. I have used it for everything from miniatures, to sculpting art, to car (body and exhaust) repairs, and canoe repairs. I love Milliput and have always sworn by it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it in my area for a number of years, and have tried a dozen different products with horrible results. Nothing can replace Milliput. I'm just lucky and thankful that I stumbled upon your website, and hopefully now I'll be able to locate a retailer who stocks it, thanks to your Info Request Form. AWESOME STUFF! Thank You!

As a professional restorer of fine china, porcelain and pottery I wouldn't be without a good supply of Milliput. I've tried many other types of fill but nothing matches up to the ease of use and beautiful results. We can duplicate the finest flower or leaf with Milliput and its hard to tell which is the original. I recommend it to all our students.

I have been using Superfine Milliput on my models and figures for about three years now; it is easily my favourite epoxy putty of the many brands I have used. In fact, I have a box that has been in my refrigerator for three years, without any sign of deterioration or impact to its workability. I have endorsed Milliput to my friends at ModelCarList and NASCARlist, although I did not disclose to them that I had once used my favourite modelling resource to repair the cracked exhaust manifold on an old car, with excellent results.

I was just using Milliput to repair a small hole in some plumbing and while mixing it I thought I'd see if there was a web site... It lasts a LOT longer than two years, I bought my pack in 1983! I don't use it much, but it really comes in handy when I need it.

Milliput saved my life......About two years ago, whilst re-installing a shower unit, I accidentally dropped the shower mixer taps into the ceramic shower tray.
Imagine my fear when I had to explain the mysterious appearence of a non-waterproof, large chip in the showertray, to my wife.
How was I to repair it? (and avoid serious bodily damage!)
I sought the urgent aid of my plumber who produced a tube of milliput (white). He went onto explain that milliput is one of his most reliable tools.
Having never used Milliput before and in complete ignorance of it's qualities, I set about my repair task with some trepidation and much apprehension. Even I found the putty easy to use and apply and to thi | |
